Cassette to CD
Transfer any cassette tapes to CD
Do not waste your precious music or voice. If you have got any type of cassette tapes, you may need our professional service.
What type of cassette tapes can we convert?
- Music cassettes bought in stores
- Audio cassettes of any length (30, 60, 90, 120 minutes)
- Micro cassettes (dictaphones, telephone answer machines)
The standard transfer cassette to CD procedure involves the followings:
- Every cassette is inspected carefully. If the cassette is damaged in a way to prevent playback, we can't do the conversion.
- Recordings are imported to a computer using digital conversion. All processing is performed with 24-bit 96KHz precision using dedicated software programs produced for CD mastering.
- Noise is removed (at least partially) by a dedicated software.
- Sound restoration is applied if requested by the customer. At this point, background noises such as crackles, ticks, pops and electrical hum can be reduced or removed.
- Track markers (if there are recognizable pauses on the tape) are added.
- You may choose the output format. The finished product is then burned onto a Compact Disc or DVD for worry-free listening and archival.
- The CD is labeled or engraved using Lightscribe technology to display the title and tracks.
- A full colour image of the album cover is printed for the jewel case if requested by the customer. Where available, a list of titles is scanned in from the album jacket. A spine label with the title of the album is added to the jewel case.
- Final testing to ensure a proper transfer and restoration.
